TTT: Audiobook Love

Thanks to That Artsy Reader Girl for hosting Top Ten Tuesdays week after week (even if my TTT doesn’t always happen)! This week we are giving some love to our Favorite Audiobooks. SO EASY. If you don’t know, I’m an avid listener of Audiobooks whilst I drive (which I do a lot of with my new library being slightly farther away). So I have ALL the recommendations. Each of these are so great to listen to, and some of these narrators I’ve tracked down in other series/books because I liked them THAT MUCH. But these are where I discovered them. Try them all and let me know if you like them as much as I do!

Happy listening!

I watch all of Shonda Rhimes TV Shows, so I was really excited get to her book (and she reads it really well!!). I loved it, made me very motivated in life! LOL

I think The Mediator is the only one that I still need to get around to – but I liked all the rest. Anna Karenina is so lovely on audio.

I reread Mediator a couple years ago through audio and really enjoyed it!! Anna Karenina has always been one I’ve wanted to read, but it’s sooo intimidating. But I adored the audiobook!! I’ve actually been meaning to relisten to it because I loved it that much!

I’ve heard the HP audio versions are excellent (Jim Vale, I think?) but I’ve never tried them in that format. The Nightingale is one of my favorites. I bet it was a wonderful listening experience.

Gah Jim Dale does AMAZING. It’s actually been a long time since I’ve sat down and read HP because I’ve been addicted to the audiobooks for so long! I definitely can’t recommend them enough. I would give them a try!

I LOVED the audio version of the Nightingale (we took it on a roadtrip, and I finished it at home and I just sat in my car and cried). But the narrator does a fantastic job.

OMG! I LOOOOOVED One Plus One!! I think I need to get the audiobook and re-read it now. I also loved the Mindy Kaling book on audio. She was awesome.

You need it in your life!!! Jamie is my ultimate bookish crush. SWOON. Not to mention, the gal that narrates the audiobooks does a FANTASTIC job. She’s got all the accents down pat!!
